Real life doesn’t come with instructions. This comes pretty close.
My Next Move is Rooted & Rising’s real-life readiness program for youth and young adults. It connects personal growth to money, work, responsibility, independence, and a practical plan for what comes next.
Three stages
- Who I’m Becoming: identity, choices, pressure, emotional control, relationships, accountability, resilience, and leadership.
- Real Life: paychecks, banking, budgeting, credit, debt, work, transportation, housing, contracts, scams, and responsibility.
- What’s Next: employment, education, interviews, communication, support systems, independent living, and a 90-day plan.
Before registration
- Review the announced age group, dates, location, and delivery format.
- Participants under 18 require parent or legal-guardian registration and consent.
- Provide emergency contacts, accessibility needs, and other required safety information.
